Urban development

We develop urban development designs, master plans and land use plans. We have a great deal of experience in the preparation of urban planning analyses, expert opinions and studies as well as in the drafting of design principles.

Since 1999, we have also been advising cities, municipalities and private clients in all matters relating to urban regeneration and urban development. We are mainly active in Lower Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt and Thuringia and since 1999 have supervised more than 400 individual projects for private- and public-sector clients in 13 cities on behalf of BauBeCon Sanierungsträger GmbH.

Building construction

Classic design and planning work, in close dialogue with the client, forms the core of our work. In new construction, we oversee every phase of performance. From design and approval to construction management, we offer every phase of performance and actively involve our clients in the planning process. Our clients can benefit in that regard from our broad knowledge and many years of experience.

Detailed energy consulting, energy-saving throughout the construction process, economical building and thinking are key elements in our planning processes right from the start.

Public-sector buildings

We have planned and realised a large number of sports and multipurpose halls as well as school buildings, kindergartens, town halls, administration buildings, and cultural and leisure facilities.

Construction in existing structures

Construction among existing buildings is one of our great strengths, also during ongoing operation. Everything is conceivable – internal reorganisation, extensions, annexes or buildings on previously unused areas, and consolidations.

Sustainable building

Sustainability understood in a comprehensive way means resource-saving construction as well as longevity and long-term efficiency of a building. Attention is therefore centred increasingly on life-cycle costs: only buildings that can be operated economically and do not require expensive follow-up investments in short cycles are sustainable. Our employees are trained in the DGNB and BNB systems and advise our clients on certification and sustainable building issues.

Construction in listed buildings

In close cooperation with the responsible authorities, we have developed and implemented contemporary and highly individual solutions for a wide variety of listed buildings.

Renovations

Many existing buildings have technical, energy-related or design deficiencies. Renovations, more or less comprehensive, and intensively supervised in all phases of performance, restores contemporary standards and increases the quality of use.

Competitions

We handle competitions, expert opinions and feasibility studies for all kinds of building construction projects and urban planning tasks.
